Gifty is a Senior Trade Mark Lawyer, registered with IPReg (The Regulator of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys in the UK) (https://ipreg.org.uk/), as dual qualified Intellectual Property Advocate and a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney.

Prior to founding IPTogether, Gifty was the sole in-house Trade Mark Attorney for PepsiCo International where she was responsible for all categories of brands under PepsiCo’s snacks, drinks, nutrition and grains products in the UK and Ireland, and reporting to PepsiCo’s Vice President and Chief Counsel, Global Intellectual Property.

Prior to joining PepsiCo, Gifty was a Global Trade Mark Counsel for Unilever.

Gifty is regularly featured in the IP trade press. In recent years she has appeared in the Trademark Lawyer Magazine on a feature on “Women in IP Leadership”, interviewed in The Patent Lawyer Magazine and CITMA Review, and featured in the Legal Monthly Magazine.
